The electric vehicle maker tumbled more than 10% after the companys earnings for the second quarter came in weaker than expected. Tesla did beat expectations on revenue, however, posting $25.5 billion compared to the consensus estimate of $24.77 billion, per LSEG. Shares of EV rivals Rivian Automotive and Lucid fell in sympathy, dropping more than 6% and nearly 4%, respectively.
