The toymaker gained 2.1% even after posting mixed third-quarter results. Mattel earned $1.14 per share, excluding items, beating the LSEG consensus forecast of 95 cents per share. However, the company posted $1.84 billion in revenue for the quarter, which was modestly under the $1.86 billion figure anticipated by Wall Street.
